Hi! I am Karianne (b. 1994), a freelance costume designer based in Oslo, Norway.
I have a Master’s degree in Costume Design from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO, 2021). Some of my latest projects include designing and making costumes for dance, opera and music theatre. I have also worked on different short movies, art performances and music videos.
My main field of interest is related to the costume’s ability to communicate and interact with its surroundings. Costumes do not speak, yet they are able to tell a lot.
